The Chinese investor Harbin Paicheng Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a major bearing enterprise in China. Founded in 1950, it currently has total assets of RMB 4.15 billion and more than 9700 employees. The factory covers an area of over 1.7 million square meters, with a building area of over 300000 square meters and over 7000 production equipment. It produces over 80 million sets of various bearings with an annual outer diameter of 1mm to 2000mm. The company also established a joint venture with AVIC Harbin Bearing Co., Ltd., which is currently a factory in China that produces aviation engine spindle bearings.
American investor Hub Technology Company. The main investor, Simo Gessek, was the former Chairman of General Motors Bearing Co., Ltd., which was a major bearing supplier to General Motors. In 1987, he purchased the NDH Bearing Factory of General Motors in the United States and transferred some manufacturing equipment to Shanghai. In 1988, he established a joint venture with Shanghai Bearing Co., Ltd. to establish Shanghai General Motors Bearing Co., Ltd, After expanding to 6 factories, it was sold to SKF Sweden in 2012.
The company aims to become a manufacturer of bearings for general automobiles in China, including steering gears, differential devices, gearboxes, generators, air conditioners, and other bearings, and to become a major supplier of wheel bearings for first, second, and third generation sedans. Chinese investors have allocated a total area of 130000 square meters and five factory buildings, totaling 60000 square meters, to the Harbin Pingfang Development Zone for the development of the joint venture.
