Recently, the mainstream production solution for assisted driving, jointly developed by Black Sesame Intelligence and Nullmax, has been officially released. This solution is aimed at mainstream car models in the price range of 80000 to 150000 yuan, based on a single black sesame intelligent Wudang ® C1236 cross domain computing chip integrates the self-developed software technology architecture of Nullmax full stack, combined with leading visual perception algorithms, to create high-performance assisted driving solutions, covering functions such as urban memory navigation assistance, high-speed navigation assistance, and memory parking, focusing on users' actual travel needs in urban and high-speed scenarios, and promoting assisted driving from "high-end exclusive" to "universal".

The reason why this solution can achieve mass production level universal breakthroughs lies in the deep integration and efficient collaboration of software and hardware.


|High integration chip: At the level of computing power intensive gain system, this solution is based on the Black Sesame Intelligent Wudang C1236 chip, which is the first domestic single chip to support navigation and assisted driving function. As a cost-effective and highly integrated cross domain computing chip for automotive standards, C1236 is manufactured using 7nm automotive technology to meet AEC-Q100 and ISO26262 ASIL-D automotive standards. Through a balanced and comprehensive chip configuration, it supports algorithms and functions for urban applications to be loaded on the mid-range computing platform. Combined with the leading high-performance full stack AI algorithm of Nullmax, it achieves all computing and data processing needs of mainstream assisted driving scenarios with a single chip, which is expected to further reduce system costs by about 30%.

|Flexible adaptation: In terms of flexible deployment and cost reduction hardware, a 7VnR sensing configuration is adopted, which has extremely high flexibility and can quickly adjust the number and type of sensor hardware according to the needs of different vehicle models. Relying on the self-developed middleware system support of Nullmax - through software and hardware decoupling, it can adapt to multiple vehicle models with minimal adjustments, significantly reducing development costs and production difficulties.

7VnR scheme


AI algorithm: At the level of full stack empowerment and efficiency improvement algorithm, it integrates the self-developed full stack AI perception algorithm of Nullmax, combined with 7 high-performance cameras, to achieve 360 degree blind spot and ultra long distance perception. The system adopts BEV (Bird's Eye View) spatial expression, demonstrating excellent robustness and generalization ability in 3D understanding tasks, making the vehicle more accurate and reliable in identifying traffic participants, obstacles, lane markings, and traffic information.

To truly make intelligent assisted driving "usable", it must start from the high-frequency usage scenarios of users. The assisted driving solution created by Black Sesame Intelligence in collaboration with Nullmax covers urban and highway areas, achieving stable and reliable Memory Driving function, bringing a smooth and intelligent assisted driving experience from home to the destination.


The city's memory navigation assistance function does not rely on high-precision maps. By recording the user's first driving route trajectory and driving behavior, it automatically generates reusable memory routes. When driving the same road section for the second time, it can be perfectly restored through memory navigation.  


This function has strong practical applicability and scene coverage ability, and can handle complex behaviors such as traffic signal recognition, straight/turning at intersections, U-turns, obstacle avoidance detours, automatic acceleration and deceleration, navigation lane changes, overtaking lane changes, and ramp up and down with ease. The system supports remembering up to 10 routes, with a maximum length of 100 kilometers per route.

In terms of technical implementation, this solution consists of two stages:


Online mapping stage: The system integrates visual perception, dynamic navigation information, GNSS-DR trajectory (including RTK, IMU, ODOM, and other data), constructs real-time driving paths, performs multi frame post-processing, topology extraction, and road segmentation, and finally generates a map that can be used for memory driving.


Memory driving stage: The vehicle relocates and matches the current perception with the memory map in real-time while driving, outputs accurate positioning results, and sends relevant instructions or trajectory reference lines to the control module, thereby achieving smooth and safe assisted driving.


This solution has demonstrated strong capabilities in actual road testing, with a success rate of 97% for online mapping in the first attempt and over 99% in the second attempt, further verifying the stability and practicality of MD functionality in different scenarios. The seamless connection between urban roads and highways truly brings users a worry free commuting driving experience.
