Publish Date: 2024.01.03

According to reports, after entering the new year, Elli, an electric vehicle charging company under the Volkswagen Group, will expand its charging network in Europe, providing over 600000 charging stations to its electric vehicle owners in 27 countries.

As the largest charging and energy supplier in the market, as well as a brand under the Volkswagen Group, Elli is strategically expanding its travel service business. In addition to expanding the number of charging stations, the company also places great emphasis on improving the convenience of charging.

Elli CEO Giovanni Palazzo expressed his views on this milestone plan. He said, "We have received incredible news in the new year, which is to provide customers with over 600000 charging stations. This charging network covering the entire Europe is a major achievement. However, our commitment is not limited to quantity, but to ensure a high-quality charging experience to drive the development of electric vehicles and the low-carbon society as a whole."

The newly established "Selected Partner Network" by Volkswagen Group is one of its key measures to improve charging quality, aiming to enhance the charging experience for customers. Selected Partner Network is a high-quality charging point operator partner carefully selected based on strict quality standards. This network has the best charging stations, high-performance charging infrastructure, on-site convenience facilities (such as cafes, restaurants, sanitation facilities), and excellent reliability.

In addition, Elli Drive Highway electricity customers can also enjoy exclusive discounted prices. At present, IONITY Europe, Arc Pulse, Audi charging centers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as Ewiva in Italy, have all become part of Volkswagen's selected partner network.

Palazzo added, "With the continuous development of electric vehicles, Volkswagen Group Charging GmbH will always be at the forefront of innovation, contributing to the establishment of stable and reliable charging and energy infrastructure throughout Europe."
